Приєднався 17 вер 2006
Milton Fire & Rescue is an all Volunteer department that covers a roughly 150 square mile mostly rural area. We have 2 Stations and about 15 members. We are located just North of Louisville Kentucky along the Indiana border. We are an all Volunteer department that is a non-taxing department. We work off fundraisers and donations only to operate and purchase equipment. Videos are uploaded from Car 8501, Rescue Engine 8532, Engine 8535, Forestry 8571, and Rescue 8583. These videos are uploaded to show you how our department operates and are not perfect and we don't claim they are. These videos are for training and for others to watch what our jobs are like. www.miltonfireandrescue.org. Please hit the subscribe and share, we appreciate it.

Excellent video. I Work as a volunteer fireman
This is not a extracation this is a recovery. Everyone is working to slow
This video sucked I have seen better from other departments
God Bless you! Very wonderful nurse!❤❤❤❤
Here in Toronto Canada I’ve heard about the tornados in Ky and neighbouring States. Prayers for residents and EMS.
Was there water on the first truck that could have been used to slow the advance of the fire? It was a while before ANY water was put on it.
Tow harrows behind the truck quicker a fire break quicker the fire would slow down and starve as the fuel has interrupted 5mtr fire break around the perimeter and that would slow the fire down Ex new zealand fire service here drag harrorrows be hind his truck to start fire break it works more you can piss around bigger the fire harder and presser on resources tankers should have front sprayers and the hit the paddock you be surprised how effective it is
The pampers should be full of water
Is this in Wisconsin
Basically just a P.O.V video
Is that like some defective Q im hearing or what is that?
So is that a take home truck for the chief or what?
hey jason do you guys use the zillow app on your phones now to communicate on fire scenes?
Did really want to use that water can
Hi Jason, been following you since (2011), watched your videos from the Tornado in 2012 and hope your community pulled through ok today. Praying no serious injuries at the campground. -Fellow hose dragger from Mn

Who. Heard that Burp? 🤪
I seriously hope that you are ashamed to call yourself a fire department. That is by far the worst job I have ever seen. My 11 month old son could do a better job setting up a fire scene. Even being from Kentucky I figured y’all would be smarter then that I’m sad that you are the best that that town can get.
You need a little skid in your pickup during the fire season. 85-125 gallons. We all have them on our ranch pickups here in eastern Oregon. I have a 200 gallon on mine.
Pray 🎉for the people in accident and the famly
That dispatcher was so on it.
Just asking but couldn’t they use a tender to get water out of the river/lake behind the house?
Congratulations to all!!
CONGRATS TOO ALL!! HAVE ABLESSED AND SAFE 2024!!
What is a major in the fire service?
Congratulations to everyone
awesome idea with the tanker
Do you not have a dozer unit in the dept?
very few dept. have that

Hurry up and wait - stupid video
Nice work out there be safe!

I'm a firefighter what took so long to fill in the box? Especially with a 2 story wood frame, those poor people lost their home and belongings because of slackness
nice tour of your station. My next trip to Kentucky, I'll have to stop and check them out in person. I live in Indiana right outside Indianapolis.
you should look at getting some farmers with disks on tractors on call for these fires will help big time wish i was near when this happened i would have took a call and been there as fast as i could have for sure
There appears to be a lake beyond the house, so why did they not pump water from that to fight the fire ?
Corn stubble fire; something city fire fighters never see.
Get your truck in the burnt area. Then you can drive along the fire line and put the fire out. And in most cases the smoke will be blowing away from you. I have fought many brush fires that way.
I take it earning field isn’t common there?
Awesome job chief. See you have a lot of back seat drivers on how you should have done this or that. Well done, you put the fire out. Thank you to all your volunteers!
Position your vesicle to where we can see the scene
With the house overlooking a plentiful source of water, surely a priority could be to utilise the lake and get lines set up from there?
Farmer should have gotten there ripper out if he could have
Not fighting it from the black?
We were fighting from everywhwere, the wind kept changing and we were trying to protect the subdivision next to it.
Get a close by farmer with tractor and diskharrow let him go to work on that field you take care of the woods copy that chief
We did, you can see him at some point in the video
Laughing at large field fire from California
This is for us lol
@@JASON8502 lol
Just out of curiosity. Why wasn’t the structures protected with the engines and the brush rigs get in the black and work the head of the fire?
That was done which is why we asked for additional engines
car 8501 just do traffic control..
During our peak fall fire season we deal with 3-4 of these almost daily. We like it when they're in the wide open like this, 2-3 4x4 brush trucks and a tanker is all we usually use. But most of ours is usually on the side of a steep hillside where a billy goat can't get to so it's all hand crews lining it and backfiring.
